Softball Recap: Vista Panthers vs. Escondido Cougars
If Vista was riding high off their 21-2 takedown of Mount Miguel two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Vista Panthers fell just short of the Escondido Cougars by a score of 14-12 on Thursday. Both teams can probably skip cardio this week after making that many trips around the bases.
Antonia Jaime was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-5. Jordyn Lowe was another key contributor, scoring two runs while going 1-for-5.
