Basketball Game Preview: Geraldine Bulldogs vs. Collinsville Panthers

The Geraldine Bulldogs will be taking part in a tournament against the Collinsville Panthers at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Geraldine easily dispatched Valley Head on Monday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Geraldine fell just short of Fyffe by a score of 48-45 on Tuesday. The Bulldogs' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Collinsville won against Crossville on Saturday with 56 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Monday. Collinsville breezed by Crossville to the tune of 56-24. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 21 points or more this season.

Geraldine's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Collinsville, their victory bumped their record up to 9-5.

Geraldine beat Collinsville 37-27 when the teams last played last Tuesday. Does Geraldine have another victory up their sleeve, or will Collinsville turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
