Basketball Preview: Washington School for the Deaf Terriers vs. Lake Quinault Elks

The Washington School for the Deaf Terriers will head out on the road to square off against the Lake Quinault Elks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Washington School for the Deaf is no doubt hoping to put an end to an eight-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.

Even though Washington School for the Deaf has not done well against the Eagles recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Washington School for the Deaf took down the Eagles 43-28. The win was just what Washington School for the Deaf needed coming off of a 64-26 defeat in their prior match.

Washington School for the Deaf got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Julian Robinson out in front who scored 18 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Kwabena White-Star, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 19 rebounds.

Meanwhile, Lake Quinault earned a 49-38 win over the Loggers on Tuesday.

Washington School for the Deaf's record now sits at 11-12. Lake Quinault's record is now 3-14.
