Softball Recap: Glenbrook Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cedar Creek, Glenbrook was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with an 11-6 victory over the Calvin Cougars. The Apaches have beaten the Cougars the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Cougars has come to flipping the script.

Glenbrook's win bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Calvin, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-9.

Looking ahead, Glenbrook will take on Anacoco at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Anacoco will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something Glenbrook surely won't give up without a fight. As for Calvin, they will face off against Harrisonburg at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
