Ursuline won the last time they faced Howland and things went their way on Friday too. The Ursuline Fighting Irish came out on top against the Howland Tigers by a score of 66-56. Given the Fighting Irish's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 46th, while the Tigers are ranked 331st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Howland's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Steven Bubon, who went 5-for-9 en route to 13 points. Anthony Chieffo was another key player, putting up nine points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.

Ursuline is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. As for Howland, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.
