Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Francis Christian). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Prior Lake Christian Royals 89-38. The Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 27 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Francis Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Diezel Vagle, who went 9 for 11 on his way to 18 points and seven rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Vagle a new career-high in assists (four). Paul Hoffman was another key player, dropping a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds.

St. Francis Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in seven consecutive contests.

When it comes to explaining why Prior Lake Christian lost, don't look at Elijah Wilson. Despite the final result, he posted 22 points along with five rebounds and three steals. The game was Wilson's eighth in a row with at least ten points.

St. Francis Christian's win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. As for Prior Lake Christian, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-3.

St. Francis Christian and Chisago Lakes Baptist will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Prior Lake Christian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 72-64 victory against Community Christian on the 13th.
