Baseball Game Preview: Ledford Panthers vs. South Brunswick Cougars

The Ledford Panthers will face off against the South Brunswick Cougars at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Ledford has given up an average of 6.6 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Ledford and North Davidson had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Panthers lost 18-10 to the Black Knights on Thursday. The Panthers have struggled against the Black Knights recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but South Brunswick ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They skirted past North Brunswick 5-4. The win was nothing new for the Cougars as they're now sitting on three straight.

Ledford's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for South Brunswick, their victory bumped their record up to 8-10.
