Soccer Recap: Callaway Falls Short of Crisp County in the Playoffs

Callaway and Crisp County squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Callaway had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Cougars. While losing is never fun, Callaway can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 234th, while Crisp County are ranked 84th).

Callaway's defeat dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Crisp County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Crisp County beat Callaway by a score of 3-1 later that day.
