Crescenta Valley waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with 14 straight wins... but they left with 15. They came out on top against the San Pedro Pirates by a score of 6-2.

Jimmy Spears was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Brock Robeson was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Crescenta Valley pushed their record up to 16-2 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games.
