Softball Recap: Bellevue Wolverines vs. Hazen Highlanders
Bellevue was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Hazen Highlanders, falling 20-13. Even if the Wolverines couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.
Bellevue got a massive performance out of Nora Nielsen, who went 3-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. That home run marked the first that Nielsen launched this season.
