Soccer Recap: Sayre Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Sayre lost against Henry Clay back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Spartans came up short against the Blue Devils, falling 6-1. While losing is never fun, Sayre can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky soccer rankings (they are ranked 77th, while Henry Clay are ranked fourth).

Sayre has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season. As for Henry Clay, their win bumped their record up to 10-3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sayre will face off against Lincoln County at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Henry Clay, they will head out to face off against St. Xavier at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
