The Sheldon Huskies will face off against the Edison Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Sheldon's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 19 games.
On Friday, Sheldon strolled past Laguna Creek with points to spare, taking the game 71-52. The Huskies haven't had any issues with the Cardinals recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Sheldon can attribute much of their success to Teyjaun 'Tae' Carter, who shot 42% from the field on his way to 21 points, and Baron Sabir, who went 6-for-13 to rack up 18 points and five rebounds. Sabir's evening made it 18 games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Ryder Daniels, who posted eight points.
Sheldon smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive rebounds in seven consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Edison). They blew past Kennedy 88-44 on Monday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Vikings' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 272nd, while the Cougars are ranked 985th).
Edison's win came from a few key players that Sheldon will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Joe Boyce, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Julius Fernandez, who earned ten points and eight steals.
Sheldon's win bumped their record up to 24-4. As for Edison, their victory bumped their record up to 16-9.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Sheldon has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 36.5 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Edison struggles in that department as they've been averaging 24.6 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
