The Nueva School piles up the points against Pescadero

Recap: The Nueva School Mavericks vs. Pescadero Vikings
The Nueva School Mavericks stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They blew past Pescadero, posting a 73-36 victory on the road. The win was just what The Nueva School needed coming off of a 95-69 defeat in their prior game.
The Nueva School's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gabe Ciechanover, who scored 23 points. Ciechanover is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 23 or more in the last three games he's played. Tammer Maraqa was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
The Nueva School's victory bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Pescadero, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.
The Nueva School will be playing in front of their home fans against Summit Preparatory at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Nueva School has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Pescadero does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
