Soccer Recap: Logan Elm Comes Up Short

After flying high against Piketon on Saturday, Logan Elm came back down to earth. The Braves came up short against the Circleville Tigers on Wednesday, falling 8-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Logan Elm of the 3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Logan Elm's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Circleville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Logan Elm will take on Fisher Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Circleville, they will venture away from home to take on Sheridan at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Circleville will be up against Sheridan's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.71 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
