Soccer Game Preview: Northwest vs. Seckman

The Northwest Lions will head out on the road to take on the Seckman Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Northwest is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Vianney just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Monday. They fell 2-0 to the Golden Griffins. The shutout was certainly out of character for Northwest, seeing as the last time the team was held without a goal was September 10th.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last game, Seckman made sure to put some goals up on the board against Perryville on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 5-1 margin over the Pirates. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Seckman as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

The win improved Seckman's record to 6-11. As for Northwest, their loss dropped their record down to 14-7.
