Football Game Preview: Ione vs. Union

Union will challenge Ione on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Union don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.

Union have to be aching after a bruising 6-32 loss to Enterprise last Friday. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Union.

Meanwhile, Ione were fully in charge, breezing past Arlington/Condon 62-22. Ione were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

Ione's victory lifted them to 2-5 while Union's defeat dropped them down to 3-4. We'll see if Ione's success rolls on or if Union are able to steal their positive momentum.
