Dardanelle extended their winning streak to 12 on Tuesday, bumping them up to 13-3. They put the hurt on the Waldron Bulldogs with a sharp 17-2 victory. Considering the Sand Lizards have won nine contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Jake Baxter tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Kam Olson was incredible, going 3-for-5 with four stolen bases, four runs, and one double. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Cam Evans was another key player, going 2-for-4 with four runs and one stolen base.

As for Waldron, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

On Waldron's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Austin Hudson, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Looking ahead, Dardanelle will challenge Lamar at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Waldron, they will take on Lavaca at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
