Softball Recap: Pana Takes a Loss

Pana lost against Pawnee back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Pana fell just short of Pawnee by a score of 7-5.

Allie Sarver was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Izzy Reed, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Pana now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Pawnee, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pana will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Ramsey at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Pana is facing Ramsey at the right time seeing as Ramsey is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Pawnee, they will be playing at home against Nokomis at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
