Football Recap: Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils vs. Canon-McMillan Big Macs
Mt. Lebanon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They fell just short of the Canon-McMillan Big Macs by a score of 17-14. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Blue Devils of the 41-28 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.
Mt. Lebanon's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Canon-McMillan, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mt. Lebanon will square off against Seneca Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both are at an even 3-3 against one another since November of 2016, but likely not for long. As for Canon-McMillan, they will be playing at home against Hempfield Area at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
