Basketball Recap: Woodlawn Baptist Academy Comes Up Short

Woodlawn Baptist Academy suffered their biggest defeat since January 9th on Tuesday. They came up short against the Independent Baptist Academy Kings, falling 54-30. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Wolverines' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Independent Baptist Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nathan Kirby, who posted eight points along with ten boards and five blocks. Those five blocks gave Kirby a new career-high. Scott Sisco was another key player, dropping a double-double with ten points and ten rebounds.

Woodlawn Baptist Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Independent Baptist Academy, they pushed their record up to 12-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.
