While Lake View's victory against Johnsonville wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wild Gators sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 win over the Flashes on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Wild Gators in their matchups with the Flashes: they've now won seven in a row.

Lake View's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Johnsonville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.

Lake View will head out to face off against Dillon at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.89 runs per game on average), something the Wild Gators will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Johnsonville, they will square off against Green Sea Floyds at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Trojans' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Flashes' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
