Softball Recap: Warren Central Takes a Loss

Warren Central is still winless after their match against Metcalfe County on Tuesday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 10-8 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hornets. The Dragons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Warren Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Metcalfe County, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Warren Central will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Monroe County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Metcalfe County, they will square off against Bardstown at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
