Basketball Recap: Highlands Ranch Falcons vs. Chaparral Wolverines
Highlands Ranch lost against Chaparral back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Highlands Ranch Falcons were beaten by the Chaparral Wolverines 79-50. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 77th, while the Wolverines are ranked fourth).
Several Falcons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Luke Bakken, who posted nine points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooks Hamlett, who scored seven points and nine boards.
