Logan came tearing into Tuesday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with an 8-3 victory over the Scott Skyhawks. The game was the first time the Wildcats have beaten the Skyhawks on their field since April 25, 2023.

Logan pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Scott, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-4-2 record.
