Softball Recap: Bishop O'Connell Knights vs. Northern Patriots

Bishop O'Connell put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by a 12-2 margin over the Northern Patriots. Bishop O'Connell might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won four matchups by ten runs or more this season.

Bri Lencz made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and only one walk). Lencz was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, MJ Melvin was incredible, scoring three runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Ari Clark, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI and a double.

On Northern's side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kat Brabson, who went 1-for-2 with a double.
