Softball Recap: Valley Christian Triumphs

Valley Christian's tournament run continued when they took on Desert Ridge on Friday. Valley Christian had just enough and edged out Desert Ridge 10-8. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trojans.

The team relied heavily on Sophie Kercsmar, who scored two runs while going 3-for-3. What's more, she posted two RBI, the most she's had over her last seven matchups. Another player making a difference was Ryann Nelson, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Valley Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .304 or higher in seven consecutive games.
