Baseball Recap: Summit Comes Up Short

If Summit was riding high fresh off their 9-0 takedown of Rialto on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The SkyHawks fell just short of the Knights by a score of 5-4 on Thursday. The SkyHawks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Knights earlier this season, when they won 9-0.

Summit's loss dropped their record down to 17-9. As for Rialto, they moved to 7-16 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Summit didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-4 win against San Dimas on the 4th. As for Rialto, they have also already played their next contest, a 4-1 defeat against Jurupa Hills on the 5th.
