After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hibriten, the North Iredell Raiders were happy to have found some success on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 6-2 margin over Elkin. It was an even better day for Brianna Ladino as she scored three goals for her team.
The win got North Iredell back to even at 1-1. As for Elkin, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.
North Iredell didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory vs. Ashe County on the 7th. Elkin will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Wilkes Central at 5:30 p.m. on March 8th.
