Volleyball Recap: Fall River Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Fall River came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Etna Lions, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Lions this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-0 defeat back in September.

While Fall River ultimately came up short, they really made Etna work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 26-24, 25-12.

Fall River's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Etna, their record now sits at 16-9-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Fall River will face off against rival Mt. Shasta at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Etna is set to challenge their familiar foe Modoc at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
