Soccer Game Preview: Franklin vs. General McLane

Franklin hasn't had much luck against General McLane recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Knights will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lancers at 6:30 p.m.

Franklin is likely headed into the match with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Erie on Thursday. The Knights lost 4-1 to the Royals. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, Franklin couldn't push the score so high this time.

Meanwhile, General McLane made easy work of Meadville on Thursday and carried off an 8-3 win. The result was nothing new for General McLane, who have now won nine matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for General McLane, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-2.
