Baseball Recap: Montgomery Gets the Win

Montgomery picked up another tournament win on Friday. They walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Westview Wolverines. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Aztecs.

Erick Ramos tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. That's the fewest earned runs he has allowed since back in May of 2024.

At the plate, David Abdul was a standout: he scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Noah Flores was another key player, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-4.

Montgomery now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Westview, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Montgomery will venture away from home to take on Grossmont at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Westview, they will welcome Otay Ranch at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
