Camacho went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base, while Fulton went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Camacho has been hot for a while, having posted at least one stolen base the last nine times she's played. Another player making a difference was CC Copeland, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Franklin Regional was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .414. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Franklin Regional's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Gateway, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
