Basketball Recap: Miller Has No Trouble Against San Benito

Miller won the last time they faced San Benito and things went their way on Monday too. The Buccaneers put the hurt on the Greyhounds with a sharp 79-58 win. The Buccaneers pushed the score to 62-36 by the end of the third, a deficit the Greyhounds cut but never quite recovered from.

Charles Perry Jr had a dynamite game, going 10-for-17 to rack up 23 points in addition to seven assists and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Brandon Smith, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 12 boards.

Miller's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for San Benito, their defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Miller will venture away from home to face off against La Feria at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. As for San Benito, they will welcome Edinburg North at 7:30 p.m. on December 2.
