Volleyball Recap: Smyrna Beats Wilson Central for Their Third Straight Victory

Smyrna hadn't done well against Wilson Central recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Bulldogs skirted past the Wildcats 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bulldogs have posted since September 4th.

Kierstan Blocker paced Smyrna's offense, picking up 14 kills. Blocker got some help from Ava Francis and her 36 assists. Je'Veyaeh Chambers controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

The victory was the third in a row for Smyrna, bringing their record up to 13-13. As for Wilson Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-15.

Smyrna wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Cookeville on the 7th. Wilson Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
