Soccer Game Preview: Turner vs. South Garland

The Turner Lions and the South Garland Titans will compete for holiday cheer at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Turner fell victim to White and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Longhorns by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, South Garland had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 5-0 to White.

Turner was able to grind out a solid victory over South Garland in their previous meeting back in January of 2019, winning 2-0. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Titans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
