Dove Creek is a perfect 10-0 against Ouray since September of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Bulldogs are taking a road trip to challenge the Trojans at 4:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with seven consecutive losses for Dove Creek and three for Ouray.

Dove Creek was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-16, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Ouray came up short against Nucla on Friday, falling 3-0.

While Ouray was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-23, 25-13.

Dove Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Ouray, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Everything went Dove Creek's way against Ouray in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Dove Creek made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
