It was a good run, but Meyersdale unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-match winning streak on Thursday. They fell 3-1 to the Berlin Brothersvalley Mountaineers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mountaineers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Meyersdale started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-23, 25-21, 25-20.

Meyersdale's defeat dropped their record down to 13-4. As for Berlin Brothersvalley, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-1-1.

Meyersdale does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Berlin Brothersvalley, they will face off against Rockwood at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
