Basketball Recap: Rosewood Starts Season with Win on the Road

Rosewood had to kick off their season on the road on Wednesday, but they showed no ill effects. They put the hurt on the Jones Trojans with a sharp 67-47 win.

Bryson Hobbs went supernova, almost dropping a double-double with 18 points and nine rebounds. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in blocks (two). Another player making a difference was Darius Davis, who shot 50% from the field en route to 14 points and five boards.

Jones' defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Rosewood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 62-57 victory against North Duplin on the 5th. As for Jones, they have also already played their next contest, a 78-71 loss against Spring Creek on the 4th.
