Basketball Recap: Amplus Academy Gets the Win

Amplus Academy won the last time they faced Beaver Dam and things went their way on Saturday too. The Amplus Academy Archers had just enough and edged the Beaver Dam Diamondback out 22-20. The win was some much needed relief for the Archers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Amplus Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Beaver Dam, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.

After both having extra time off, Amplus Academy and Somerset Academy Losee will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025. Somerset Academy Losee's defense has only allowed 25.5 points per game this season, so Amplus Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Beaver Dam, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Panguitch at 6:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
