Football Recap: Arnold Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Arnold extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 1-4. They were dealt a 40-7 defeat at the hands of the Choctawhatchee Indians. If the Marlins were looking for revenge after losing 49-0 to the Indians when the teams met back in November of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Choctawhatchee, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-0. Considering they have won five games by more than 27 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Choctawhatchee's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tamen Zabetakis, who threw for 117 yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 69 yards on only six carries. Those four passing touchdowns gave Zabetakis a new career-high. Choctawhatchee also got a significant boost from Carter Marracco, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 118 yards.

Arnold has already played their next matchup, a 28-21 win against Walton on the 3rd. As for Choctawhatchee, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 38-6 victory against South Walton on the 3rd.
