It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Sullivan County ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They skirted past the South Williamsport Mountaineers 2-1. The win was some much needed relief for Sullivan County as it spelled an end to their ten-match losing streak.

Sullivan County's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 2-11. As for South Williamsport, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.

Coincidentally, Sullivan County and South Williamsport will both be playing Muncy the next time they take the pitch. The Griffins will host the Indians at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Mountaineers will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
