Softball Recap: Waco Takes a Loss

Waco lost to University back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lions lost 16-1 to the Trojans. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Waco saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abriana Ramirez, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run.

Waco's loss dropped their record down to 5-17. As for University, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Waco nor University have any future games scheduled.
