On Tuesday, Cedar Park Christian was able to grind out a solid victory over Lakewood, taking the game 10-5. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.
Isabela Stewart made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched 3.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. Stewart was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Cedar Park Christian got a big performance out of Evoleht Stuhr, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Katelyn Charlton, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
Cedar Park Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .419. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lakewood only posted a batting average of .250.
Meanwhile, Mountlake Terrace had just enough and edged out Marysville Getchell 11-9 on Friday.
Like Cedar Park Christian, Mountlake Terrace also got a great game from a two-way player: Charlotte Snook. She tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Snook was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.
In other batting news, Jordyn Stokes was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Ruby Gilbert was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Cedar Park Christian pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 11.5 runs. As for Mountlake Terrace, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
