Steffen made his presence known in Murrieta Valley's 76-64 loss
On Tuesday Parker Steffen was dialed in and scored 16 points along with five assists and three steals. He played a big game the last time he faced Chaparral, so the team probably should've seen him coming. He's been particularly strong when it comes to steals, as the contest was his 11th straight with two or more. For the year, Steffen has averaged 15.4 points, 2.3 steals, and 3.7 assists per game.
Steffen and Murrieta Valley will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Golden Bears at 7:00 p.m. Sadly, Steffen's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped Murrieta Valley's ten-game streak of wins at home. With the streak snapped, Steffen and the Nighthawks surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Friday's match.
