After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four games, Boca Ciega finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They came up short against the Shorecrest Prep Chargers, falling 11-0. The Pirates' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Boca Ciega's defeat dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Shorecrest Prep, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Coming up, Boca Ciega will head out on the road to face off against Pinellas Park at 7:00 p.m. on the 9th. As for Shorecrest Prep, they will be playing at home against Largo at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Packers will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Chargers surely won't give up without a fight.
