Softball Preview: St. Charles North North Stars vs. Wheaton-Warrenville South Tigers

The St. Charles North North Stars will head out on the road to take on the Wheaton-Warrenville South Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. St. Charles North is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

St. Charles North stacked a fourth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They blew past Batavia 6-0.

Paige Murray looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run and only one hit over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive pitching appearances.

At the plate, Mackenzie Patterson was excellent, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Julianna Kouba, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
