Basketball Recap: Newark Memorial Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Newark Memorial can now relate to. They lost 55-32 to the Las Lomas Knights on Wednesday.

Newark Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 16-11. As for Las Lomas, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 16-13 record this season.

Newark Memorial does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Las Lomas, they will face off against University at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. University will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Las Lomas surely won't give up without a fight.
