Softball Recap: Scott Comes Up Short

Scott fell victim to Pendleton County and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 10-0. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Scott's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10-1. As for Pendleton County, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Scott will head out to take on Simon Kenton at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Pioneers have now posted at least ten runs in their last nine matches. As for Pendleton County, they are taking a road trip to square off against Campbell County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
