Basketball Recap: Freedom Prep Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Freedom Prep Academy had lost six straight at home dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 2-7 to make it seven. They were beaten by the Rockwell Marshals 98-35. The Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to the Marshals from their previous meeting back in January.

As for Rockwell, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-2. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Rockwell's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jacob Christiansen, who posted 44 points along with five boards and three steals. The game was Christiansen's third in a row with at least 22 points. Ethan Kearl was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 27 points and nine steals.

Freedom Prep Academy and Mount Vernon will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Rockwell, they will venture away from home to challenge Non Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
