Softball Recap: Chicopee Comp Takes a Loss

Chicopee Comp fell victim to Sabis International and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 13-0. The Colts were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 18-5.

Chicopee Comp has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Sabis International, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Coming up, Chicopee Comp will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Pathfinder RVT at 4:00 p.m. The Pioneers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.5 runs per game on average), something the Colts will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Sabis International, they will venture away from home to challenge Hopkins Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
